About AIWP
The Association of Iowa Workforce Partners (AIWP) promotes, enhances, and serves the interests of local workforce investment agencies and system partners in Iowa. AIWP represents fifteen areas who administer the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs, as well as other federal, state and local workforce development initiatives across Iowa. AIWP was established in 2000 and currently has 17 member organizations. Current members include Iow@Work providers, Iowa Workforce Development and agencies serving special populations.

AWIP advocates at the state and federal levels to ensure that Iowa has quality comprehensive workforce services available to meet the training, education, and job placement needs of workers. AIWP also provides quality professional development to Iowa’s workforce professionals through an annual conference that offers continuing education credits and the latest information on training and emerging workforce issues.
