Workforce Policy

AWIP advocates at the state and federal levels to ensure that Iowa has quality comprehensive workforce services available to meet the training, education, and job placement needs of workers. AIWP develops an annual list of legislative priorities designed to enhance workforce services provided through Promise Jobs, the Workforce Investment Act, and other state and federal programs and initiatives.
