Join us for a conversation with Jathan Chicoine of Home Base Iowa! This discussion will cover topics relating to veteran employment and what role workforce development professionals can have in recruiting more veterans into the labor force.
In an effort to provide high-quality professional development for Iowa’s workforce professionals, AIWP hosts an annual two-day conference that takes place during late March/early April. The conference features speakers that provide in-depth professional development on a number of topics including, but not limited to:

Serving persons with disabilities
Transitioning formerly incarcerated individuals into promising careers
Working with immigrant and refugee populations and English language learners in workforce centers
